Area Clinic Manager-Hopewell/Prince George/Surry

District 19 Community Services Board (D19CSB) is seeking a qualified professional to serves as Area Manager for “satellite” clinics in Hopewell-Prince George and Surry. Supervises staff, interfaces with community organizations, serves on required boards and committees, and provides direct service to individuals, families, and groups. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the clinic.

Essential job duties of this position include: program planning, administration and evaluation, clinical supervision and evaluation of staff, inter-agency coordination, and direct clinical services delivery, based on the “recovery model”, to the consumer population.

Successful applicant must have knowledge, skills and abilities related to stated position responsibilities to include: Master’s Degree in human services field, Virginia licensure (i.e. LPC, LCSW), outpatient mental health experience, supervisory experience, and flexibility to work some evening hours. Must have the ability to develop and maintain relationships with consumers, community partners, DSS, DJJ, schools, etc. Prefer LCSW; demonstrated experience in working with multi-cultural population, SA counseling, and providing therapy to SMI adults.
Preferred Qualifications / Other Relevant Job Information:
Position is a Grade 216 salaried position. The minimum annual salary is $59,914.00.

Starting salary for new employees will be based on the prospective employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities directly relating to the position’s duties. Current or most recent verified salary will also be taken into consideration prior to making an offer of employment. Starting salaries for new employees will not exceed the advertised maximum and will be based on the availability of funding within the current budget.

Position requires pre-employment extensive background check and drug screening, to include a valid Driver’s License in state of residence with a point balance of -6 or higher.
