Bridge Program Case Manager
Type of Work: Provides case management services for adult clients with mental illness and substance use disorders with history of incarceration due to their illness and who have been diverted from jail. Services are provided to clients of Bridge, the jail diversion program, including local travel and transportation of clients. Coordinates services and/or resources needed by the client to maintain and/or return to community living.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required, with at least one year’s experience in a setting working with adults with needs in the areas of mental health and substance abuse. Demonstrated knowledge of case management/social work practices and resources available to help consumers in the community. Valid Virginia driver’s license and safe driving record required.
Must be registered as a LMHP or LHMP-E, or meet the qualifications as QMHP or QMHP trainee as set forth by the board of counseling.
Starting Salary: $32,940 annually
