NGRI (Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity ) Case Manager
|District 19 Community Services Board is seeking an experienced level clinician who will serve as a provider of NGRI and Forensic Services to District 19 consumers. Serves as case manager to Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) clients in the community. Ensures District 19 compliance with court order (conditional release plan) and fulfills mandatory reporting requirements for NGRI clients. Services as hospital liaison for patients in the custody of DBHDS under a forensic status. Participates in demonstration model of conditional release for NGRI patients. Assists DBHD in treatment planning and discharge planning for patients under other forensic status. Provides restoration to competency services for client’s ordered to outpatient restoration to competency. Pre-admission screening evaluator is hired with knowledge, skills, and abilities to establish a welcoming environment for individuals with co-occurring disorders and performing hopeful engagement and integrated screening and assessment,|
|Requirements: (Experience, Essential Education, and Skills Needed):|
|Successful candidate is required to meet the DBHDS definition of “Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A)”
• At least a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling or other degree deemed equivalent to those described) from an accredited college and with at least one year of clinical experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness;
This position requires travel to multiple sites located throughout the District 19 catchment area.

|Prefer forensic counseling experience.
Position is PRN, hourly, with no benefits. This is a grade 208 position. Hourly rate starts at $20.65.
Starting salary for new employees will be based on the prospective employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities directly relating to the position’s duties. Current or most recent verified salary will also be taken into consideration prior to making an offer of employment. Starting salaries for new employees will be based on the availability of funding within the current budget.
Position requires pre-employment extensive background check and drug screening, to include a driver’s license report if applicable.
