communication; multi-cultural sensitivities; sound judgment.
Master degree in human service with at least two years of substance abuse
License eligible as a LPC, LSATP, Addiction Specialist, LCSW, LCP, etc. Certified Substance Abuse Counselor
|Work experience in group/individual SU work in public agency preferred.
A bilingual (English, Spanish) candidate is preferred.
This is a Grade 209 hourly position. The minimum hourly rate is $21.89.
Starting salary for new employees will be based on the prospective employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities directly relating to the position’s duties. Current or most recent verified salary will also be taken into consideration prior to making an offer of employment. Starting salaries for new employees will not exceed the advertised maximum and will be based on the availability of funding within the current budget.
Position requires pre-employment extensive background check and drug screening, to include a driver’s license report with a -6 point balance or higher.
