Assistant Director of Human Services Youth Division

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Provides oversight and supervision to the Youth Services Program Manager(s) and their teams directing, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs providing treatment, case management, and behavioral health wellness services in clinic offices, juvenile detention center, juvenile probation, homes, community and public high schools for clients with mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. The Youth Division is composed of multidisciplinary teams providing a broad range of services. We are within easy commuting distance from Northern Virginia and Stafford County. Prince William County is a diverse and dynamic community.
PREFERENCES:
The successful candidate will have:
- Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in an interdisciplinary behavioral health community-based environment
- 3-5 years of experience in comprehensive program development and managing the provision of clinical services
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience at a professional level.
- Commonwealth of Virginia professional license (LCSW, LPC or LCP)
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Monday – Friday 9:00 – 5:00
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass DMV record check.
- Must pass TB test.
- Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check. - Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $90,000.00 – $123,896.00 Annually
