Crisis Stabilization Peer Recovery Specialist
TYPE OF WORK: Provides peer support, empathy, encouragement, rehabilitation, and education to consumers in the residential crisis stabilization program. Represents the perspective of consumers in planning and provision of program services. Provides individual and group crisis stabilization and education services. Organizes and oversees leisure time and recreational activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and/or experience in a related field that demonstrates the ability to perform the assigned tasks. Bachelor’s degree in human services related field with one year direct experience working with individuals with mentally illnesses or bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and four years direct experience working with individuals with mentally illnesses. QMHP status or eligibility.
STARTING SALARY: $29,878 annually
