Crisis Stabilization Specialist – LE/Crisis Clinician
Highlands Harbor is a new crisis stabilization program that provides an alternative to hospitalization. Highlands Harbor offers an overnight, non-hospital setting that focuses on individualized care for those experiencing psychiatric/substance use crisis including detox. This brand-new program has the capacity of a 12-bed unit in a newly renovated building.
This vital and rewarding position promotes an alternative to psychiatric inpatient treatment for individuals with a mental illness. Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy, crisis interventions assessments, and substance use treatment through this opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Position Specifics
Location: Crisis Services Office – Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Exempt, Wednesday – Saturday (8:30am – 6:30pm)
Compensation: $51,500 (Licensed Eligible)/$55,000 (Licensed) – Commensurate with education/experience. $5,000.00 Sign-On Bonus!
Education: Master’s Degree eligible to seek Supervision for Licensure in the State of Virginia to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT).
Experience: One-year clinical experience required. Two years of post-licensure experience preferred.
