Developmental Service Provider
Join the Early Intervention Team at HCS and help infants and toddlers with disabilities or delays to achieve their goals in cognitive, social/emotional, communicative, adaptive, and physical development. This vital position aids in providing assessments to determine eligibility and service planning, developing Individualized Family Services Plans, and providing direct services under the Part C coaching model that helps young children and their families to learn many key skills and catch up in their development.
Position Specifics
Location: Hillman Highway Office – Abingdon, VA
Status: Part-Time (30 – 39 hours), Non-Exempt, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $18.50 – Commensurate with education/experience.
Education: Elementary Education (PreK-6th; licensure preferred) or licensure with endorsement in Early/Primary Education (PreK-3rd or NK-4th) or Certified in Family & Consumer Sciences or Licensure with an endorsement in Special Education – Early Childhood (birth-5) by the Virginia Board of Education.
Experience: Three (3) years clinical experience preferred.
