Become a member of Prince William County Community Services as a Human Services Analyst – Clinical Staff Credentialing Specialist helping to serve our clients with getting the help they need.   About This Role:   As a Human Services Analyst the primary responsibility will be to oversee the credentialing process for new and existing clinical providers, ensuring all required documentation is collected, verified, and processed in accordance with credentialing policies and regulatory guidelines. Assist with managing the credentialing lifecycle, including initial applications, re-credentialing, and ongoing monitoring. Assist in addressing and resolving all discrepancies or issues related to provider enrollment and credentialing. Facilitate communication with external stakeholders and assist the manager in the onboarding and department orientation of new employees. Maintain up-to-date Credentialling database systems such as CAQH, PECOs, PRSS and Virginia Medicaid MCO’s to ensure accuracy. A secondary responsibility will be to assist in conducting in-person and over the phone interviews with CSB consumers to identify eligibility for benefit programs and facilitate enrollment and renewals. You will complete and submit electronic and/or manual applications for programs such as: Medicaid, General Relief, Subsidized Nutrition Assistance Program, Low-income Subsidy.   Minimum Requirements: 
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. and 5 years of related experience with credentialing clinical staff and Medicaid eligibility in the Commonwealth of Virginia and government assistance programs.
Preferences:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience credentialing licensed clinical behavioral health staff with CAQH, PECOS, PRSS and Virginia Medicaid MCO’s
  • Medicaid eligibility in the Commonwealth of Virginia and government assistance programs
  • Knowledge of HIPPA and 42 CFR regulations
  • Experience working in a large medical or behavior health facility.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
  • Certified Medical Professional Services Management (CPMSM)
Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM. The work location will be at Ferlazzo building at 15941 Donald Curtis Dr, Woodridge VA 22191.   Special Requirements: 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass DMV record check.
  • Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint based National Criminal History Record Check.   • Child Protective Services Requirements:  Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.
