Provides quality care, training, support and supervision to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a center-based or community-based program. Hours of the program may include weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Monitors and maintains the safety and wellness of individuals. Provides a wide array of activities and experiences that will enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Provides recreation and socialization to individuals in a variety of community settings. Provides transportation for community activities. Maintains
Individual records and documentation according to all applicable standards.
M1: High school diploma or equivalent.
M2: Physically able to push wheelchair, assist with transfers, and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
M3: Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record.
P1: Experience with providing personal care.
P2: Experience with documentation/paperwork.
P3: CPR and/or First Aid and Medication Training and/or Therapeutic Options.
P4: Experience working with individuals with a developmental disability and specifically with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE:
$24,669 – $38,852. Excellent fringe benefits.
