ICF Safety Coordinator #3378
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating risk management activities in the areas of health and safety, emergency preparedness, and recovery to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures as well as regulatory standards for the Agency’s Intermediate Care Facility locations. Assures the adherence to and maintenance of current Risk Management Plans, Continuity of Operations Plans, Emergency Action Plans, and ICF-specific Emergency Preparedness Programs to meet regulatory and reporting requirements. Works closely with Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) teams to develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans. Assists with required reports, coordination of resources, staff training, data analysis, and follow up to identify trends that may benefit from quality improvement activities. Works with the Emergency Preparedness Team to assess and identify emerging risks, evaluate policies, and ensure proper implementation of and follow up of corrective action plans related to ICF locations.
: Bachelor’s degree required in VA DMAS approved Human Services degree, Risk Management, or Public Health
: Current Certification in CPR and First Aid
: Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
: Must be accessible by telephone after hours
Two years of experience in quality assurance or risk management
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required
upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$34,937 – $55,027
