Licensed Therapist- C&A PRN (Pos. #967)
Seeking a Licensed Professional to provide direct therapeutic interventions to individuals, families and groups with mental health and/or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders or mild intellectual disability issues.
Responsibilities include diagnostic assessment of the child and/or adolescent population. The individual will be responsible for preparing comprehensive person centered, recovery oriented treatment plan according to agency guidelines; provide trauma informed care and approach to treatment interventions; treat co-occurring disorders and have knowledge of family systems and motivational interviewing; consultant to other staff and community agencies regarding assessment and diagnosis, coordination of services, and referrals. Prepare documentation to include report writing and timely, procedurally correct recording in health information records – in both electronic and manual formats. Position requires licensed provider to perform billable services with Managed Care Organizations (MCO’s).
PRN: Monday – Friday (hours vary based on program needs)
Individual must be a LPC, LCSW, LCP or LMFT. Professional license granted by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health Professions. At least one year of experience in providing clinical services to children and their families or providing clinical services to adolescents with co-occurring disorders and their families. Providers must maintain an active professional license, register with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) and possess a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
