RESPONSIBILITIES: As a member of a multidisciplinary team, conducts psychiatric assessments; assesses physical health needs; makes appropriate referrals to community physicians; provides management and administration of medications in conjunction with the psychiatrist; provides a wide range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; shares shift-management responsibilities with other staff; provides direct case management services to individuals; conducts medication education, and performs necessary documentation; assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills. Delivers medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotating basis. Participates in on-call rotation.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Requirements M1: Licensed Practical Nurse with a valid LPN license to practice in Virginia required. M2: Valid drivers’ license with safe driving record required.
Preferred Requirements P1: Experience working with seriously mentally ill individuals preferred. P2: Experience with crisis intervention preferred. Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $34,937 – $55,027. Sign on bonus $1,500.
