Highlands Harbor is an upcoming, brand-new, crisis stabilization program that provides an alternative to hospitalization. Highlands Harbor offers an overnight, non-hospital setting that focuses on individualized care for those experiencing psychiatric/substance use crisis including detox. This brand-new program has the capacity of a 12-bed unit in a newly renovated building.
The purpose of this position is to plan, develop, and execute the overall operations of the Crisis Stabilization Services Department goals and objectives at Highlands Community Services and to provide supervision and oversight to Crisis Staff.
Position Specifics:
Location: Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Exempt, On-call hours
Compensation: $5,000 Sign-On Bonus! $60,000 – Commensurate with education/experience, on-call responsibilities with additional pay
Education: Master’s degree eligible to seek Licensure for Supervision in Virginia or LPC, LCSW, LMFT.
Experience: Three years clinical experience.
Preferred: Active license in the state of Virginia as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT and previous or current certification as a Virginia Certified Pre-Screener.
