Psychiatric Nurse (4015)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assesses plans, develops, coordinates, and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to program individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses under the clinical supervision of the team leader and psychiatrist. Functions as a clinical member of the multidisciplinary team and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services, or may be designated by the team leader to function as the lead mental health professional. Assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills. Delivers medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotating basis. Participates in on-call rotation.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia
M2: At least one year experience within the past five years providing services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness
M3: Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record
M4: Must be approved and registered with the appropriate board for licensure supervision as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP within six months of hire
M5: Must obtain professional licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP in Virginia within six months of completing supervision/residency
M6: Must have, or be eligible to obtain, certification as a pre-screener for emergency hospitalization in Virginia within six months of hire
Preferred Requirements
P1: Virginia licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP
P2: Experience working the ACT Model
P3: Experience with crisis intervention
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$40,024 – $61,698
$5,000 Sign on Bonus
$2,600 Annual ACT Program Differential
15% Increase for Licensure
7% Increase for Resident/Supervisee
