Valley Community Services Board’s Quality and Compliance Dept. is seeking candidates for the Q&C Manager position. Under the direction of the Q&C Director, this position provides a supportive, leading vision to the Q&C team as well as the agency. Actively supervises two QA Specialist positions. Has a leadership role in safety, data collection and monitoring, Quality Improvement and Risk Management functions for the agency.

  Essential Functions
  • Data Collection and Monitoring related to state reporting & current initiatives.
  • Implement and review as needed an integrated agency wide risk management program to ensure the safety of individuals, employees, and visitors.
  • Conducting systemic risk assessment reviews.
  • Identify and respond to practices, situations, and policies that could result in the risk or harm to individuals.
  • Develop and coordinate a quality improvement plan that defines the steps to review and manage initiatives to improve the quality of services. 
  • Participates in investigations and root cause analysis as needed.
  • Supervision of QA department.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or health information systems.
  • Documentation experience working in an electronic records system.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree
  • QMHP
  • Familiarity with DMAS and DBHDS licensing requirements for services provided by a community services board.
