Quality Compliance Coordinator #5049
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the administrative supervision of the Director of Compliance and Information Management Systems, the Quality Compliance Coordinator
collaborates with compliance and other DPCS staff to create and manage compliance, safety/risk and quality assurance/improvement activities. The
Quality Compliance Coordinator reviews the health records of the individuals in the Agency’s behavioral health, developmental disability, and prevention
services programs to determine the compliance of the record with service requirements and regulations disseminated by Licensure within the
Department of Behavioral Health and Disability Services (DBHDS). Equally important is the oversight of DPCS Medical Records operations including
requesting and sending records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Duties include assuring the compliance of records with the
requirements of Medicaid/Medicare programs, Managed Care Organizations, and other third-party insurance companies.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Master’s Degree in human services (i.e.: Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling or other VA DMAS approved human services degree)
OR
Master’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field with a Bachelor’s Degree in human services required.
M2: At least 12 months experience providing direct services to individuals diagnosed with mental health, developmental disability, and/or substance use
diagnoses
Preferred Requirements
P1: Knowledge of Licensure requirements for mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance use services
P2: Knowledge of Medicare/Magellan/Medicaid/Managed Care Organization requirements
P3: Knowledge of Quality Assurance/improvement techniques
P4: Knowledge of Human Rights Policy and Regulations
P5: Knowledge of confidentiality laws and regulations
P6: Knowledge of Safety/Risk Management and Disaster planning
P7: Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (preferably Profiler)

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$43,560 – $68,608
