Goochland Powhatan Community Services is seeking a Full Time Substance Use Disorders Case Manager with firsthand knowledge of challenges faced by substance use and/or co-occurring disorders. This position will be responsible for providing a variety of services to those accessing services, and/or participating in treatment services with Goochland Powhatan Community Services. The position will have both administrative and direct consumer responsibilities, with an emphasis on accessing treatment, outreach, recovery, and advocacy. The position also serves as the Goochland Family Treatment Court Liaison. This position requires collaboration between other members of the clinical team to ensure coordination of care among consumers and other services and/or agencies within Goochland and Powhatan counties. This may involve consumers involved with the Justice system through the courts, probation/parole, and jails/prison as well as those surviving an overdose. The incumbent will receive
direct supervision from the Outpatient Services Supervisor. Knowledge of substance use and co-occurring disorders is required as well as a strong case management focus. Computer literacy to include electronic health records, Office 365 Apps such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and organizational skills are necessary as timely and accurate documentation is essential.
