Are you the Fiscal Grants Coordinator we’re looking for?

To succeed as a Fiscal Grants Coordinator at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, you must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Public Administration, or a related field, along with 2 years of experience in grant budgeting, accounting, and reporting, or five (5) years of relevant experience. You should have a solid understanding of financial and budgetary requirements for effective business planning, as well as proficiency in financial administration practices. Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to government finance, especially in grant funding for Behavioral Health, is essential. The ability to develop and implement financial processes to optimize fund utilization, along with strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and teamwork, are crucial in this role. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office tools will be necessary to excel in grant management and financial reporting systems.
