Manager - SUD (Substance Use Disorder) - Sign on Bonus
District 19 Community Services Board in Petersburg Virginia is offering an excellent opportunity for a full time Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Jail Services Manager. This position is responsible for managing the Substance Abuse Outpatient Program to include oversite of jail services, Mandatory Outpatient Treatment (MOT), SUD, Peer Recovery Support Services, Project Link for at risk pregnant women, SUD Case Management Services, SUD Outpatient Services, and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Services.
Essential job duties of this position include Providing primary clinical and administrative supervision to SUD program staff in the Petersburg Clinic. Provide support to clinical staff to include completing intakes and other clinical document. As needed, facilitate and co-facilitate SUD groups and provide training for new and existing staff. Engage in community outreach to build partnerships with community stakeholders. Consult with Director of Prevention and Recovery for program development and to receive directives. Meet monthly with Director of Prevention and Recovery for individual and group supervision. Complete quarterly chart audit and monthly supervision with SUD staff. When required, provide clinical supervision to licensed eligible staff. Facilitate staff meetings and monthly supervision with SUD staff.
Individual must have knowledge of human development with special emphasis on perinatal issues and infant/child development and be familiar with community resources. The candidate must be knowledgeable in substance abuse recovery, trauma informed service delivery, parenting, and child development stages.
Master’s Degree in Human Services. Licensed and credentialed in the state of Virginia as an LPC, LCSW, LSATP, LMFT, etc.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of three years’ work experience in direct service delivery in a health or human service agency with two years in out-patient substance abuse services, demonstrate supervisory experience; have knowledge of case management protocol, have knowledge of human development with special emphasis on perinatal issues and infant/child development, and be familiar with community resources.
The candidate must be knowledgeable in substance abuse recovery, trauma informed service delivery, parenting, and child development stages. Previous supervisory/management experience required. Incumbent also must adhere to confidentiality policies and maintain professional boundaries.
This is a
Grade S-C12 salaried position. Starting salary is
$72,818. *Salary is negotiable*
