Crisis Services Clinician (4024)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides face-to-face and telephone crisis intervention and crisis stabilization, diagnostic evaluation and assessment of need for treatment, pre-admission screening for private and state psychiatric hospitalization; provide monitoring of individuals ordered to participate in Mandatory Outpatient Treatment (MOT) including attendance in and follow-up to civil commitment hearings and develops a clinical plan of services for individuals ordered to outpatient treatment and facilitates the individuals engagement in those services; provide behavioral health consultation; referral to DPCS programs or other community based services and adhere to guidelines or regulations established by Virginia Statute and the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services; provides clinical assessment, intakes, and develops and monitors treatment plans; works as part of the team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and function optimally in the community.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Masters degree (30 credit hours or more) in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Human Services that includes coursework for eventual licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia
M2: Experience providing mental health or substance use services to adults, children, adolescents, and their families
M3: Documented crisis intervention experience within the past five years
M4: Must have, or be eligible to obtain, certification as a pre-screener for emergency hospitalization in Virginia within six months of hire
M5: Valid drivers license and safe driving record

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$50,805 – $88,909
$5000 Sign on Bonus
15% Increase for Licensure
7% Increase for Resident/Supervisee
Shift Differential: $2.00 for 2nd shift; $3.00 for 3rd shift
