Peer Recovery Specialist – Substance Use Disorder
This vital and rewarding position promotes recovery and serves as a mentor to help remove barriers for individuals struggling with substance use. An opportunity to enhance community-centered treatment to assist individuals toward success in meaningful recovery is a key component of this position.
Position Specifics:
Location: Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Non-exempt, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $16.00 – Commensurate with education/experience
Education: High School Diploma/GED and Peer Recovery Specialist Certification required and can be completed after hire.
Experience: Lived experience with SUD and two years verifiable, stable recovery.
