ACT Registered Nurse - Sign on Bonus
We are offering a great opportunity for a full time Registered Nurse for our Assertive Community Team (ACT). ACT is a highly coordinated set of services offered by a group of medical, behavioral health, peer recovery support providers and rehabilitation professionals in the community who work together as a team to meet the complex needs of individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness.
Responsibilities
Conducting psychiatric assessments, assessing physical health needs, provide phlebotomy services, administration of intramuscular medication, obtaining lab work and following-up with results, have knowledge of psychotropic medication uses, side effects, and potential interactions. Provide care coordination between various service providers in the community, coordinating medication deliveries and communicating with local pharmacies to ensure accuracy of medication deliveries, writing appropriate referrals to community physicians, and providing range of treatment rehabilitation and support services.
Requirements
M1: Associates degree in nursing.
M2: Current State of Virginia license to practice as an RN.
M3: One (1) year experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting.
M4: Valid Drivers License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
Will be required to travel to consumers residences in the Greater Reach CSB catchment area.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
Annual Salary Range
Grade S-C9 (Associates Degree)
$60,863.00 – $68,471.00
Grade S-C11 (Bachelors Degree)
$69,356.00 – $80,916.00
$5,000 Sign on Bonus
