ACT Services Lead RN - Sign on Bonus
We are offering a great opportunity for a full time ACT Services Lead RN for our Assertive Community Team (ACT). ACT is a highly coordinated set of services offered by a group of medical, behavioral health, peer recovery support providers and rehabilitation professionals in the community who work together as a team to meet the complex needs of individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness.
Responsibilities
This position would serve as the lead nurse, providing oversight of the team’s medical services, under the direction of the psychiatrist, supervising psychiatric nurses, and sharing shift management responsibilities with other staff. Conduct psychiatric assessments, assessing physical health needs, provide phlebotomy services, administration of intramuscular medication, obtaining lab work and following-up with results, have knowledge of psychotropic medication uses, side effects, and potential interactions. Maintaining accurate documentation (including audits of staff) and accuracy of ACT MDR, coordinating medication deliveries and communicating with local pharmacies to ensure accuracy of medication deliveries, writing appropriate referrals to community physicians, and providing a range of treatment rehabilitation and support services.
Requirements
M1: Associate’s degree in nursing.
M2: Current State of Virginia license to practice as an RN.
M3: One (1) year experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting.
M4: Valid Driver’s License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
ACT is an essential program, operating 365 days of the year. Applicant must be able to work some evenings (until 6:00pm), weekends, and holidays, based on program needs. Will be required to travel to consumer’s residences in the Greater Reach CSB catchment area.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

Grade S-C12
$72,824.00 – $84,961.00
$6,000 Sign on Bonus
