We are offering a great opportunity for a full time Licensed
Children’s Outpatient Therapy Services Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Provides clinical and administrative oversight of the Mental Health (MH) Outpatient, Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Outpatient, Court Service Unit (CSU), and Crater Detention programs. The position also delivers MH Outpatient, SUD Outpatient, and Case Support Services within Greater Reach CSB clinics and in the community. Responsibilities include participation in FAPT and CPMT meetings, ensuring quality assurance for all services, and providing clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff. The position oversees service delivery within assigned Greater Reach CSB programs, provides individual, group, and family therapy, and ensures the delivery of case support services. Additionally, this position provides program oversight in the manager’s absence.
Required Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in human services or related field.
- Professional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Three (3) years of experience providing clinical services and supervision to youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and/or adolescents at risk for substance use disorders.
- Valid Driver’s License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
Preferred
- Five (5) years of experience providing clinical services and supervision to youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and/or adolescents at risk for substance use disorders.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and skills providing clinical counseling (individual, group and family), crisis intervention and stabilization, case management, education and coaching services for parents, teachers, etc.
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development, DSM, trauma, etiology and nature of Serious Emotional Disturbance and Substance Abuse in children and adolescents.
- Strong competency in clients’ rights, ethics, confidentiality and professional practice.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to make effective decisions under varying circumstances.
- Demonstrates cultural competence by delivering clinical services with awareness and sensitivity to the socio-economic, racial, ethnic, gender, and cultural backgrounds of consumers.
- Demonstrates effective clinical supervision abilities and fosters team cohesion and collaboration.
- Knowledge of Comprehensive Service Act in Virginia and Medicaid services for children in Community Services Boards.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records, PHI, confidentiality and human rights.
- May be required to travel within the Greater Reach CSB catchment area.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
Annual Salary Range
Grade S-C12
$72,824.00 – $84,961.00
