This is a challenging yet rewarding position that helps people with developmental disabilities build skills, connect with their communities, and reach their goals. This position delivers the opportunity to deliver meaningful community experiences by working alongside local businesses, volunteer groups, and other community partners to help individuals with disabilities become active, valued members of their community. This is a hands-on, dynamic role that combines direct teaching, mentoring, and advocacy with the opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives.
Position Specifics:
Location: Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Non-exempt, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $15.00 – Commensurate with education/experience
Education: High School Diploma/GED. Associates Degree or CNA License preferred.
Experience: Two years related experience
