We are seeking a committed professional to fill a full-time Early Intervention Supervisor position supporting our mission and services. This role plays a vital part in delivering quality outcomes and serving our community.
Responsibilities
The Early Intervention (EI) Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision, coaching, and quality assurance for Early Intervention Service Coordinators under Virginia’s Infant & Toddler Connection (ITC) requirements and Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Ensures the delivery of high quality, family-centered service coordination and developmental services for infants and toddlers (birth to age three) with developmental delays or disabilities, and their families. Monitors and supports program staff to ensure their fulfillment of State-Mandated Service Coordination responsibilities, provides evidence-based practice as a developmental professional providing individualized consumer services, and ensures full compliance with Early Intervention rules, agency policies, and procedures. Oversee and guide program staff in the development and implementation of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), provision of supportive consultation to families, and ensure accurate and timely documentation submission. In collaboration with the Early Intervention Program Manager, will assist with hiring and training of program staff and ensure program compliance. Carry a caseload of case management and developmental supports.
Required Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in early childhood education, special education, social work, human services, or related field.
- Two (2) years’ experience providing Early Intervention Service Coordination.
- Valid Driver’s License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
Preferred
- One (1) year of supervisor or leadership experience.
Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of early childhood development, family systems, and family-centered practices.
- Strong understanding of IDEA Part C, Virginia ITC policies, and service coordination requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor and coach staff to achieve professional growth and compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in documentation systems, data management, and Microsoft Office.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
Annual Salary Range
Grade S-C9
$60,863.00 – $68,471.00
