Greater Reach CSB is seeking a seasoned professional for a full-time Emergency Services Clinician position located in Petersburg, VA.
Essential duties of this position include but are not limited to crisis screening for civil commitment, brief crisis intervention and counseling, follow-up of hospital and jail/prison discharges, and outpatient therapy. Attendance at civil commitment hearings may be required.
Required:
- Master’s degree in human services or a related field. Must be licensed or license eligible as a LPC, LCSW, LMFT, with the Virginia Board of Health Professions; clinical experience providing therapy service to consumers with mental health/substance abuse/co-occurring disorders; ability to make sound clinical decisions under stressful circumstances; Knowledge of VA code as it relates to involuntary commitment, knowledge of assessment and diagnosis of substance abuse and mental health.
- Valid Driver’s License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
- This position requires certification as Pre-admission Screening Evaluator within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Preferred candidate will have basic computer skills, crisis intervention experience.
- Professional license preferred (i.e. LCSW, LPC).
Salary:
Grade C9 for Licensed Eligible. Salary range $60,863.00 – $68,471.00.
Grade C11 for Licensed. Salary range $69,356.00 – $80,916.00.
$1,500 Sign on Bonus to qualified applicants. *Restrictions Apply.
TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE
Monday – Friday, 3pm to 11pm
Saturday – Tuesday, 10pm – 8am
Crisis services are provided 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; shifts may be adjusted depending on coverage needs.
May require periodic overnight/weekend shifts.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
