RESIDENTIAL FACILITATOR
SBH is seeking a qualified individual to manage King’s Manor and assists individuals with Developmental Disabilities in maintaining their community living status and improving skills in/towards independence in residential skills. Also develops accurate and appropriate annual waiver plans. Will be responsible for assisting the Divisional Director of Residential in assuring adequate staff coverage for the Group Home.
Responsibilities
- Supervises staff in delivery of care services to individuals with developmental disabilities and performs overall daily management of the Facility.
- Supervision responsibilities include: yearly evaluation of employees, monthly reports on program results, supervision of Medicaid components, implementation of all DBHDS and Health Department licensing requirements, as well as SBH policies and procedures, staffing and individual programming for each resident, and working with other organizations and persons to assure the delivery of quality services for the residents.
- Works with the Divisional Director of Residential Services to ensure adequate coverage in the home.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or related field preferred. Associate’s in Human Services or related field required.
- At least one-year experience working directly with persons with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
- Previous supervisory experience in an Intellectual Disabilities residential facility desired.
- Must meet all criminal background and drug screening requirements.
