We are currently recruiting for an SUD Reentry Coordinator whoprovides leadership and support to Reentry Counselors and delivers direct services as part of the Jail Reentry Team. Responsibilities This role oversees reentry support programs and services, and collaborates with the Clinical Supervisor to develop and implement best practices and policies that enhance substance use disorder (SUD) education and treatment for individuals in secure jail settings.  Developing, modifying, and monitoring individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs. Evaluates service effectiveness, maintains ongoing communication with jail staff and healthcare providers, and ensures service delivery aligns with program goals.  Provides direct care, including individual and group counseling, to individuals in both community and criminal justice settings. Additional clinical duties include conducting mental status exams, clinical assessments, SUD screenings (e.g., SBIRT), and developing person-centered treatment plans based on evaluations and psychological assessments. Requirement Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, Human Services, or related field.
  • Two (2) years related clinical experience, with adults, with consumers in the criminal justice system, and knowledge of substance use treatment modalities and related outpatient services and experience with crisis intervention.
  • CSAC registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience in group/individual SA work in public agency or jail/correctional setting.
  • Five (5) years related clinical experience, with adults, with consumers in the criminal justice system, and knowledge of substance use treatment modalities and related outpatient services and experience with crisis intervention.
  • LMHP-eligible or Full LMHP preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of CSB system; clinical motivation of clients; case management; etiology of substance abuse; related mental disorders; self -help groups; bio, psycho, and social aspects of substance abuse.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to demonstrated and emulate multi-cultural sensitivities.
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.  Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
