Behavioral Health Clinician Employee Medical Center/Human Resources Hiring Range: $72,954 – $98,487 Deadline: 11:59 p.m. October 27, 2024 Chesterfield County is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Behavioral Health Clinician to join our newly established Employee Behavioral Health Program (EBHP). This role provides essential mental health services, including on scene mental health response, to support the well-being of Chesterfield County employees in their service to residents and the community. The EBHP will provide behavioral health services within the Employee Medical Center (EMC) to Chesterfield County employees to include counseling, referrals, crisis intervention and crisis prevention services. This position also provides direct clinical and consultative services to employees and departments, assists with coordination of education/training opportunities for departments/leadership, assists with clinical advising to peer support groups and provides on scene coverage for crisis services after hours, weekends and on holidays, as needed. Build internal and external relationships and work effectively with both professional staff and employees from a broad spectrum and diverse backgrounds of many professional orientations and educational backgrounds. Perform position duties independently and make sound clinical decisions and judgements. Master’s degree in human services field and a minimum of two years of experience (three to five years preferred). Preferred experience includes training and experience in a crisis setting, working with high stress professions including first responders, and demonstrated initiative. Professional licensure required, such as Virginia LCSW, LPC, etc. Adherence to basic ethics appropriate for a professional helping relationship and/or as required through state licensing associations such as LCSW and LPC. Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. Operate a personal computer and related software and other standard office equipment, including documenting services in an electronic health record. Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required.
