CLINCIAN I/II/III, MOHR CENTER - CHARLOTTESVILLE (FULL TIME)

The Mohr Center is Region Ten CSB’s residential treatment program for adult males. Individuals who stay at the Mohr Center receive client-centered, addiction treatment from a diverse and multidisciplinary team including therapists, case managers, nurses, medication techs, and psychiatrists. At this time, the Mohr Center seeks an individual who is responsible for providing and documenting clinical services to clients enrolled in the Mohr Center. He/she performs assessments, completes and manages Medicaid authorization requests, and provides counseling and rehabilitative services through individual and group therapy. He/she has the responsibility to provide supportive advocacy, information and referral assistance to link Mohr Center clients to other services in the community. This includes assessing resource needs, developing treatment plans, coordinating services with other service providers and serving as a client advocate.
Schedule negotiable with some evening, weekend, and holiday hours required.
Incumbent will have at least two years of experience in the mental health field. A Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree preferred.
Clinician I: Bachelor’s Degree in a human-services field is required or in-progress Master’s degree in a human services field. Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) also required.
Clinician II: Must be a counseling resident, social work supervisee, or residency/supervision eligible in Virginia within 6 months of hire.
Clinician III: Must be licensed (LCSW, LPC) in Virginia.
Only Full-time positions include benefits.
Depending on Qualifications, Pay Range: $20.02 – $30.03
