Direct Support Professional – Residential (3210)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide training and assistance to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in the areas of hygiene, eating, toileting, and community involvement. Responsible for working with individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviors in a group home setting. Monitor health needs and provide transportation for individuals. Maintain facility cleanliness and prepare meals. Complete documentation in accordance with all applicable standards. Schedule includes working holidays, weekends and during inclement weather.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Valid driver’s license
M2: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Requirements
P1: Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
P2: Experience working in a residential facility
P3: Experience working with personal care
P4: Experience with individuals with disabilities other than an Intellectual Disability
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$29,443 – $46,259
Shift Differential: $2.00 2nd Shift, $3.00 3rd Shift
