Quality Assurance Specialist
The purpose of this position is to work collaboratively as part of the Quality & Compliance (Q&C) Team at Highlands Community Services (HCS) in planning and providing required services and to aid in the Department/Agency’s goals and objectives. Applicants should be knowledgeable of behavioral healthcare; have experience working with electronic health records data and have the ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and within timelines.
Position Specifics
Location: Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $22.00 – Commensurate with education/experience
Education: Associate’s degree in a technical computer-oriented field, related to certifications, or equivalent experience providing technical assistance in a healthcare environment. Bachelor’s degree in a technical computer-oriented, Human Services, or healthcare related field preferred.
Experience: Four (4) years of related experience. Six (6) years of experience and knowledge of BI, SQL, and/or Crystal Reports preferred.
