Quality Assurance Specialist
The purpose of this position is to work collaboratively as part of the Quality & Compliance (Q&C) Team at Highlands Community Services (HCS) in planning and providing required services and to aid in the Department/Agency’s goals and objectives. Applicants should be knowledgeable in behavioral health regulations, HIPAA, documentation requirements, quality assurance, and health and safety standards; have experience working with electronic health records, measuring outcomes, quality assurance projects, auditing, and safety inspections and the ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and within timelines.
Position Specifics
Location: Abingdon, VA
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $22.00 – Commensurate with education/experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience: Six year of related experience
